There may have been rougher seas when I was younger, back on NCL ships half the size of Regatta. I gently set it down and continued by nap. I woke to the sound of it sliding off, and somehow got out of bed and caught it as it came off. ![]() We were napping one afternoon and had two bottles of whisky and some glasses on a silver tray on the vanity. Regatta isn't a big ship - but one of my favs. Roughest seas? Probably on Oceania Regatta coming up the Pacific coast heading from San Fran to Astoria. That ship handled it like nothing though, so these 10-15 meter swells and high winds didn't move the ship nearly as much as you'd expect.
